Pit Lane Experience Ballot Opens for 2026 Singapore Night Race

Formula 1 is returning to Marina Bay in 2026, and fans are being handed a rare chance to step straight into the heart of the paddock before a wheel is even turned in anger.

Ballots are now open for the Thursday Pit Lane Experience on October 8, a behind-the-scenes walk that lets up to 4,500 fans stroll the famous Marina Bay Street Circuit pit lane and peer into the team garages as mechanics ready the cars for the Singapore Grand Prix weekend.

No grandstand ticket? No problem.

The ballot is open to Singapore citizens and permanent residents, and there is no requirement to hold a race-weekend pass to enter. Each successful applicant will receive a pair of tickets to the Thursday Pit Lane Experience, turning it into an easy invite for a friend or family member.

The event lands on the Thursday before Circuit Park officially opens for the 2026 Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix, which runs from October 9 to 11. This time, the schedule includes a sprint race on October 10, setting the stage for the main night race on October 11 under Marina Bay’s trademark floodlights.

The Pit Lane Experience offers more than a slow walk past the garages. Attendees can also wander through the Zone 1 F1 Village, where interactive activities and fan-focused attractions will be running through the evening, building early-weekend buzz before the cars hit the track.

The ballot is already live and closes on September 18 at 11.59pm Singapore time. Entries are made via the official website, with successful applicants to be notified separately once the draw is complete.

This Thursday Pit Lane Experience sits under the RevUpSG banner, a series of activities designed to pull fans closer to Formula 1 beyond the three main days of track action.
