India Dominates South Korea in Kabaddi at Asian Games

The scoreboard said it all. India 63, South Korea 31. But the numbers barely captured the authority with which the Indian men’s kabaddi team stamped itself on Group A at the Asian Games on Tuesday.

Men bully their way to the top

Now comes Iran on Wednesday, a fixture that carries a different weight. Iran have long been one of the few Asian teams capable of standing up to India’s traditional dominance. For the Indian women, this is more than just a second Group A match; it is an early measure of where they stand in the new cycle.

The opener against Bangladesh ticked the right boxes. Iran will ask harder questions. The response could shape the rest of their tournament.
