Sunderland are on the verge of landing one of the most eye-catching signings of the summer, having agreed a deal worth just under £30m for Lyon winger Malick Fofana.
The 21-year-old Belgium forward is travelling to England for a medical and is expected to sign a five-year contract, a statement of intent from a club preparing for its first European campaign in 51 years.
