North Dakota Hosts Florida Atlantic in Historic Soccer Match

Bronson Field gets a little piece of program history on Sunday.

After a bruising two-game swing through California that yielded a 0-1-1 record, the North Dakota women’s soccer team returns to Grand Forks for a noon kickoff against Florida Atlantic, the first meeting between the two programs.

The series stands at 0-0-0 because it simply hasn’t existed until now. That changes on September 13, when the Fighting Hawks and the Owls finally share a pitch in a Sunday matinee that doubles as North Dakota’s only game of the week and the second-to-last fixture on the 2026 non-conference schedule.
