Cymru Premier: Saints Maintain Lead Despite Harrison's Red Card
Craig Harrison spent the closing stages in the stands, but his side walked away with exactly what they came for: another win and their place at the top of the Cymru Premier intact.
The Saints were already in command by the time their manager was dismissed early in the second half. Daniel Williams had struck in the first period, Rory Holden had followed, and the league leaders were cruising. Harrison’s red card only added edge to a contest that was already tilting heavily in the visitors’ favour.
They saw it out with authority. Saints stay top, while Airbus, beaten but not broken, cling on to eighth.
Caernarfon Crush Winless Ammanford
If the table suggested a mismatch, Caernarfon underlined it in bold.
They travelled to south west Wales and dismantled Ammanford with a ruthless, five-goal display that lifted them into third. Phillip Mooney opened the scoring, Sion Bradley doubled it before the interval, and the hosts were already reeling when their night got worse.
Lucas Davies saw red for Ammanford, and Caernarfon simply turned the screw. Bradley converted from the penalty spot to make it three, Mooney added his second, and Harri Wyn rounded off a comprehensive victory.
Ammanford remain winless and marooned in 15th, left to absorb the bruises from another heavy defeat.
Barry Keep the Heat on Leaders with Late Drama
Second-placed Barry did their part in the title race, but they made their fans wait.
Elliott Dugan settled early nerves with a penalty to put them ahead against Llandudno, and when Noah Daley doubled the lead, the home side looked in complete control. Llandudno, though, refused to fold. Mark Cadwallader pulled one back and briefly stirred anxiety in the ground.
The response was instant. Within two minutes, Daniel Barton restored Barry’s two-goal cushion and reasserted their grip on the game.
Still, there was one final twist. Deep into stoppage time, in the 98th minute, Ellis Williams struck to hammer home Barry’s dominance and keep them just a point behind leaders TNS. For Llandudno, the defeat stings doubly: they slide from fifth down to sixth.
Eason Inspires Cambrian as Holywell’s Wait Goes On
Cambrian’s rise continues to gather pace. Newly elevated to the top flight, they collected a third win, driven by a sharp, decisive performance from Liam Eason.
Eason scored on either side of half-time to put Cambrian in control against Holywell. The bottom side refused to disappear quietly, and when Florian Yonsian pulled one back seven minutes from time, nerves crept in.
Cambrian held firm. They saw out the final minutes to climb to ninth, while Holywell remain rooted to the foot of the table and still searching for their first win.
Cardiff Met Rescue Point in Fiery Flint Clash
At Flint Town, the drama started almost immediately.
Isaac Modi found the net in the first minute to give Flint a dream start against Cardiff Met. The hosts carried that lead into a tense encounter that grew increasingly fractious.
The turning point came with Benjamin Woollam’s dismissal. With Flint down to ten, Cardiff Met seized their chance. Jack Veale stepped up from the penalty spot and coolly levelled the match.
The card count did not stop there. Met’s CJ Craven collected a second yellow and joined Woollam in the dressing room, leaving both sides to finish with ten men.
Flint remain 14th, still looking over their shoulders, while Cardiff Met stay in seventh, grinding out points in games that refuse to run to script.
