Talisca Leaves Fenerbahce for Al-Jazira in Big-Money Move

Anderson Talisca’s time at Fenerbahce is over almost as quickly as it began.

The Brazilian forward, who arrived in Istanbul in the 2024-25 mid-season window, has left the club after both parties agreed to terminate his contract. Fenerbahce announced the decision on X, confirming a mutual parting and sending the 30-year-old on his way with a courteous farewell and best wishes for the next stage of his career.

It has not taken him long to find that next stage.

According to Transfermarkt, citing journalist Resat Can Ozbudak, Talisca has already struck an agreement with UAE side Al-Jazira. The move would reunite him with fellow Brazilian Malcom, the former Al-Hilal winger, in what promises to be one of the standout attacking partnerships in the league.

Al-Jazira are reported to have offered Talisca a two-year deal with an option for a third season. The financial package underlines how highly they rate him: his total annual salary is expected to exceed €10 million.

For Fenerbahce, it draws a line under a brief and ultimately transitional spell. For Talisca, it is another lucrative stop in a career that has already taken him through Europe, the Gulf, and now deeper into the UAE project.

Only the medical and the final signatures stand between him and his latest adventure in Abu Dhabi.
