Colin Dagba has swapped the glitz of Paris and the grind of Belgium for something very different: a long road back through Serie B with Carrarese.
The Italian club have announced the signing of the 27-year-old right-back on a free transfer after his contract with Beerschot expired on July 1. He has committed to a deal running until June 30, 2028, with an automatic extension clause tied to performance targets – a clear signal that both player and club see this as more than a short-term stop.

Carrarese Talk Up a Two-Way Threat

Dagba arrives in Tuscany with a CV that dwarfs much of the division.
He made 77 senior appearances for PSG across all competitions, including seven outings in the Champions League. During his time at the Parc des Princes, he collected three Ligue 1 titles, two Coupe de France trophies and two Trophee des Champions wins. Those medals came alongside spells on loan at Strasbourg and Auxerre, experiences that hardened him away from the relative comfort of a star-studded Paris squad.
Carrarese are banking on that top-level schooling to raise the standard of Gabriele Cioffi’s back line, both in terms of quality and mentality.
