Barcelona’s pursuit of Julian Alvarez, thought to be dead and buried when the window shut, may yet find fresh life before the season reaches its halfway mark.
According to El Chiringuito TV, the camp of the Atletico Madrid striker believes the situation at the Metropolitano could deteriorate to the point where Atletico themselves are forced to reassess their hard-line stance. In other words: what looked like a closed door in August might be ajar by January.
A No.9 Barcelona Never Really Gave Up On
Inside Barcelona, Alvarez was the preferred choice to lead the line. The ideal No.9. Young, relentless, technically sharp, and already a proven winner with Argentina.
They tried. They pushed. They couldn’t move Atletico.
