Amankwah Forson Joins Hapoel Be'er Sheva for Europa League Action

Norwich City midfielder Amankwah Forson will spend the season in Israel after completing a loan move to Hapoel Be'er Sheva, a switch that drops him straight into the heart of Europa League action.

The 23-year-old only arrived at Carrow Road this year, signing a four-year deal in 2024 after Norwich picked him up from RB Salzburg. Now his development takes a sharp turn south-east, into a club with title pedigree and a demanding European schedule.

Forson has already shown enough in Norfolk to suggest there is more to come. The Ghana international has clocked 44 appearances for the Canaries in all competitions, chipping in with four goals and offering the kind of energy between the lines that quickly earns a manager’s trust.

Hapoel Be'er Sheva are not taking him for a quiet season. The six-time Israeli champions have fought their way into the league phase of this season’s Europa League, where the draw has handed them heavyweight company: Juventus, AFC Bournemouth, Besiktas.
